ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
The Northwest Center for Health Promotion is committed to protecting your personal privacy and safeguarding your personal information. The following Privacy Policy describes our information-gathering and usage practices. By accessing www.rhythmofpeace.org, you acknowledge and understand NCHP’s Privacy Policy and freely consent to the information collection and use practices described below.
SUMMARY
NCHP does not sell, rent or share your information with anyone.
NCHP collects personal information from our users on various pages of the website in order to provide services, products, resources, and communications that users have requested. Contact information is used to contact the user when necessary to provide information or fulfill a request. We take every precaution to safeguard and protect your information online and off-line.
Users can access the My Account section to change and modify information previously provided. The Rhythm of Peace community members’ online accounts are password protected and so are our off-line databases.
When one of our website forms asks users to enter sensitive information, such as credit card numbers when making a donation or placing an order, that transaction takes place on a secure server and is protected by the best encryption software in the industry—Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
NCHP partners with Empire Group, Inc. to host the website and Authorize.net to process credit card transactions. These providers are not permitted to use or share any personal information for any other purpose.
SECURITY OF INFORMATION
NCHP uses industry-standard technology to keep any personal information entered on the site as secure as possible. We also have put in place privacy protection control systems designed to ensure that your personal data remains safe and secure.
All NCHP employees who perform administrative functions on the website are obligated to abide by this privacy policy. Employees who violate the Privacy Policy are subject to disciplinary action and may be terminated.
Only authorized NCHP employees servicing the website are permitted to have access to your personal information, and such access is limited by need.
PARTICIPATING MERCHANT POLICIES
The Rhythm of Peace website contains links to other websites that are intended to provide additional resources to users. Related services and offerings with links from our website, including vendor sites, have their own privacy statements that can be viewed by clicking on the corresponding links within each respective website. Online merchants and others who participate in NCHP’s services are encouraged to participate in industry privacy initiatives and to take a responsible attitude towards consumer privacy. However, since we do not have direct control over the policies or practices of participating merchants and other third parties, we are not responsible for the privacy practices or contents of those sites. We recommend and encourage that you always review the privacy policies of merchants and other third parties before you provide any personal information or complete any transaction with such parties.

NCHP specifically advises users not to provide information they regard as sensitive, such as email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, or financial information.
